I talk about biblical references and how it relates to the world but there are other symbolic features in my life that provide hope, which is water. It has a powerful healing ability, which is commonly is used in spiritual connotation. As a symbol, water is a means of cleansing and rebirth. Water is also present in the scriptures saying that the Lord will quench your thirst. Everywhere I look I see ashes and dirt, so it is refreshing to see water whenever I can. Before all this, we used water as an item to live life but now water means so much more when you’re in the state like I am. This reality is a message to all people, that the road we journey on is representative of life and ones tribulations with our life time. The inner spirit and the hope you have is more powerful than any form of destruction. It is the ultimate survival tool that will guide you through the vicarious world that we live in now. Those who are week give into suicide or other means of self- destruction. Like the father sad to me he’s wife exemplifies this weakness because she left to cause suicide to get away from all the disasters that were happening. The desire to keep on going and not lose your inner spirit will help you overcome the barriers life throws at you on your journey.

ReplyDeleteThe inner spirit is reflected in all humans but we as humans choose whether or not we use it to guide us. Water is much more than just to quench your thirst; to me I like to think of it as what keeps me and my son going when we are heading for the warm coast. It is a blessing to get clean water not contaminated by the hazardous world we live in, so you need to be thankful. The fire we carry in our hearts is another representation of the hope we have and when life takes things away from us we use that fire to keep on going to survive. The fire we carry is an act of honour to the lord, at this point my son doesn’t know much of the lord like I do but I’m hoping that when he is older he will understand. Hopefully the people that he meets guide him in the right direction so he can have a happy life away from all of this. The resilience in my life I find is strong because I am able to walk upon this planet with out getting strained of my path. I know I'm near death but I don't let it bring me down because my love for my son overcomes the pain in order to move forward. I must make it to the coast at least for my son and hopefully he has learned enough through his years to know the rights from the wrongs.
